O Credit Suisse confirmou nesta terça-feira que organizou ativos em nome do Banco Espírito Santo (BES), mas afirmou que não vendeu nem assessorou nenhum cliente ou afiliado do banco português na compra dos ativos.

“O Credit Suisse não tem visibilidade sobre a distribuição feita pelas filiais ou subsidiárias do Banco Espírito Santo”, disse o banco suíço em comunicado.

O BES foi resgatado pelo Estado português no início deste mês depois de postar enormes perdas decorrentes da exposição ao império de negócios em ruínas de sua fundadora, a família Espírito Santo.
